More about the Photographer

I am 36 years old and I am from Laurens, South Carolina. I married the man of my dreams, Kevin, in December of 2022. In 2024, we welcomed our first baby, Shepherd, into our family. We are very blessed and so in love with our precious boy! 

I graduated from Lander University in 2012 with a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing Management. I began my business while attending college in 2010 and thankfully, the Lord continues to bless me with photo sessions and amazing clients each year.

My love for photography began when I was a child. In the 90s, my family’s Polaroid camera and their monstrous VHS Camcorder always fascinated me when it made its appearance on special occasions. I also remember visiting my grandparents house often as a child and rummaging through what seemed to me at the time a treasure trove full of old photographs. As a teen, I clicked through hundreds of disposable cameras and purchasing the finished product was always an exciting adventure for me. I suppose photography became more of a hobby in high school while taking yearbook classes for three years. 

While I attended Lander, I had no idea what I wanted to major in or what I wanted to do as a career, but with many family members praying for me the Lord led the way and built this career for me. I was washed by the blood of Jesus and was truly saved in 2012. Since this time, my mission for my business was and still is to glorify God in all that I do and I want every image to radiate His wonderful light. Over the years I have had people question me about my secret to being a professional photographer and to be honest it is the power of prayer and the Lord’s faithfulness. I pray God’s creativity and artistry will always come to life through my images.

Capturing weddings, family portraiture, pregnancy, newborn, children, and senior portraits are all steps in documenting the important events of your life. My photographs are a mixture of posed and candid shots which capture the brilliance and sparkle of people naturally. I cherish my own personal photo albums and I hope the candid and portrait photographs we take at your photo shoot or wedding are just the start to documenting all the important events of your life for those generations yet to come. I want to be your photographer for life, not just your wedding or newborn photographer. There is a bit of my soul in every photograph I take.
